every state/region has signs that nature gives as to the serverity of things to come I'm curious, whats your backyard telling you about this coming winter.....
here south of Detroit the squirrels have really bushy tails, the catapillars coats are thick, my dog developed some dry skin and one of my snowblowers is on the fritz.....my prediction snow B4 November, warmer than usually temps, but lots of snow...
Awe I really feel bad for ya, snow by nov. 4th It is snowing here at the moment. The elk are bugling and dropping down lower in the mountains. The deer are hitting the stuble fields and I don't know where the damn snow shovel is.
Judging by these frickin cold mornings weve been havin....I agree with the November Snow prediction!! Hell, two weeks ago I had the air conditioning on and in the pool...today, you can see your breath outside..and need a winter jacket!! bbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrr.......
Not sure...but the leaves seem to be falling earlier this year in Nashville. As much as I HATE winter, I do hope we have enough cold weather this year to kill more of the %%#$%#$^T$ bugs! The flies this year were like something from a Stephen King movie.
Many of the trees have already changed their color. This almost reminds me of the first year I moved to upstate NY, and we had snow on October 4th It dropped into the high 30's last night, so It's almost time to start using the heat again I thought we just stopped using the heat a of couple months ago. It's going to be an early, long, cold winter here in NY.
The farmers almanac states that there is suppose to be alot of snow and a colder than average winter. On the other hand, the weather prediction is because on El nino, it's to be a warmer than normal winter.

Gesh, I just wish we had seasons in Florida.
I would love to see the fall colors on the tree, feel the wind rustling the autumn leaves, the cool hush of a wintry day, my hands cold from making a snowman, jeans and a sweatshirt, marshmellows roasting...............hot cocoa................
Well come back...I did actually sit on the deck this morning with my coffee (had to wear a jacket over my jammies though cat!)...
or come for Christmas...the girls like to go to a tree farm and choose our christmas tree they cut it down and DRAG it home...and all i have to do is keep the fireplace going...bake cookies (thank God for pillsbury!) and my wine glass handy!!
