tomcatwarne: Ran out of fuel
Peshawar to Chitral, one of the most dangerous passenger flight paths in the world. Once the flight enters the valley systems, it's committed. On this occasion the pilot aborted the flight before we entered the first valley.

The old Airport at Kai Tak in Hong Kong a flyover 25 yards in foront of the threshold and you actually fly in between Multi storey houses and look up at wee chines ladies in the kitchen that is after a 90o turn 300 yards from the runway
And the approach to the Runway on the Faroe Islands is between Mountains on all sides and only one way in or out no room for error.
But for sheer fun try a trip in the back seat of a Jaguar or Tornado in the Scottish Highlands at 500 kts looking up at the Deer and Sheep. Adrenalin is really Brown

In Bastian Park they have 7 small bridges..locally know as the bridges of love...when a couple make a committment to each other, they engrave a padlock with their names, they keep 1 key, they give another to their family, and the 3rd is thrown in the river..should it be that they seperate..they have to retrieve all 3 keys
