Actractorguy: It only takes discussion without yelling to get to know someone. I will debate and give my opinion on how I see things but I cannot force change. It has to be done by the one receiving my input. Have a great time and just enjoy. It was fun and I did learn a lot.

Always try to learn something new cause if not the day is wasted.

I too have learnt a lot tonight. It has been a friendly and nice evening. And thank you for joining on this thread, it has been a pleasure. Now you sleep tight, sweet dreams far from the wordly ones, and distant from all what we have discussed tonight.

Good Night Actractorguy, sweet dreams heart wings

There has been much talk for years to get rid of the current tax system in the United States and go to a fairer or flat tax.

Because of the all powerful IRS (Internal Revenue Service) this will probably not happen. It would eliminate the IRS.

Most unemployment is growing in the private sector and Government employees are growing in USA. We need to do the opposite. Eliminate Government and add jobs to the private sector. If there should be unemployed, let it be the very high pay of Government workers. Many of these workers make approximately $100,000 a year while the people on the streets suffer.

Ladies and Gentlemen; now you see the rise of Socialism in the United States by the Obama Administration.

Greed! That's the problem. Doctors want more, every one want's more. 30 years ago when you asked a child want he/she wanted to become when he/she grew up they choosed a proffession, now when you ask the majority say they ant to be rich and have a lot of things.
The consumer sociaty where you are bombarded with commercials constanly has made people crave for more. Especially completly unecessary stuff.
It used to be a medicine man in every tribe. Caring for a handful of people to his best nolage.
Today a doctor is caring for thousands of people.
No matter type of political system the cost or the lack of educating enough doctors makes doctors scarce.
This enables doctors to have high salaries.
Doctors have no interest in rapidly increasing the numbers of doctors since it would affect their paycheck.
High salaries to doctors give automaticly high insurance rates.
Do you think a medicinman would have said to tribesman "I'm not going to treat your severe lion bites because you are not going to be able to bring me meat anymore in the future, since you're most likely will be limp"
Now doctors are hiding behind insurancecompanies and reception desks. Failing to provide the right document they will turn you away and you might just need to head for the nearest bush to die.

Previous posts has stated that there's a difference depending how many inhabitants a country or region has in how each country can deal with it's share of problems.
It makes absolutly no difference if the number of people is 1 million or 1 billion in a country. What matters is density of population. There is not going to be a heartsurgeon in every other Igloo in artic but in a major city you will find one within a couple of miles.
If you have homeless uninsured people in a big city it's a politial choice made by a sucsession of leaders.
And you get/elect the leaders after your abilty to understand matters of hand.
With less education the voters are prone to chose the most charismatic person not the actual politics.
Wich makes greedy two faced people the wast majority of politicians today, it's the only way, kiss buts on the way up to the top so you can reek the benfits of office.
I don't know Obama so I can't judge him, history will.
As for the Bush family they should stand trial for their crimes.

A broadbased value added tax (VAT or Whatever) or any other tax system will not get rid of the IRS , the Govt will still require workers to police/collect etc

John, the only way its going to be done is if it is done differently without the use of the slots and boxes that are hinged upon ie Socialism and all the other isms and ists .In actual fact almost none of those systems exist and most of those that do ie (China) have changed drastically from the original model somuchso that they're almost capitalist... One things for sure they are all consumerist ... We, I believe have to consume better- utilising/harnessing/using/invent-reinvent non harmful practices instead of this Highly disposable consumerist mentality that forges most companys balance sheets. Insodoing - new more sustainable areas of employment will come to the fore/discovered ...... The other choice is , and its just about started... Carbon TAX (Poison Tax) then it will be(And why is it not now -Oh! thats right we ca'nt see it) Hydrocarbon Tax; Arsenic Tax; Lead Oxide Tx . should I go on....

Ladies, Gentlemen,Children, and all living/and not organisms residing on this planet ... its starts with you in your own space in all that you do think and stand for .... its the very essence of yours and your offspring's existence ...

I find a certain amount of humor in a thread began by a European....titled "Listen fellow Americans"...that was about American health care......that has denigrated into a discussion of the snow fall in Europe and foreign European blessings.

But glad you brought it to our attention.........grin
