Please stay safe and keep us posted with how you are.

Watching the news now. Police are going door to door ordering all residents out in Lucinda, Halifax and Taylor's Beach.

That person's aunt, whom I mentioned earlier living in Cairns, is apparently going to spend tonight bunkered down in her bathroom. She is 84, used to cyclones, but she knows this one is different. Her younger sister lives in a town nearby which is expected to be more vulnerable. Prayers for all.

I just feel sick. I know I will be up all night watching and waiting. I keep thinking of all the families with little kids terrified, and all the animals. I hope you all stay safe and the morning comes quickly.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Stay safe. Oh and may I suggest if you didnt have the chance to board up your windows, use duct tape, it will help keep them from shattering into little peices.

It is but sadly they do it all over the world. In my experience they have never gotten injured though. They are normally trained professionals. (I only know this because I have been through 4 natural disasters in which I lost all material belongings)

Well, it's like that movie 'Twister'. These storm chasers are very serious in what they do, and know what they're doing...Well as far as nature is anywhere predictable.

I was stoked this morning when I woke up and first thing on the tv said no lives lost or no major injuries. yay

But, it's not over yet. I just hope people up there keep well indoors until it is fully safe to come out.
