nanners2863: Not sure this is a great idea.

I felt really weird recently in Italy. I had to order in some water for the underground tank. Turns out the water comes from a nearby natural spring that flows 24/7. It's that very same water I need use from the taps to wash my floors and do the dishes with!!!

Oh, and shower and wash my hair, washing clothes. I tell, I can't quite grapple with that one!!doh

But I would still love that car! Meanwhile, I'm sure they will fine tune the mechanisms for water extraction. Maybe instead of making Coke and Pepsi and Dr Pepper, and 777 and....grin

From bobans link:

"Meyer's death
Stanley Meyer died suddenly on March 21, 1998 after dining at a restaurant. An autopsy report by the Franklin County, Ohio coroner concluded that Meyer had died of a cerebral aneurysm, but conspiracy theorists insist that he was poisoned to suppress the technology, and that oil companies and the United States government were involved in his death. Meyer's patents are still available online, although there has as yet been no independent verification of his claims."rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

It's always oil companies or the government!

What's that old saying if it's too good to be true?

I heard his death was carefully staged and untrue. He's in Italy working on perfecting his latest. Some say it has to do with either walking on water or turning water into wine. The guy loves his H20laugh

I bet if you took that car apart you'd find a big ole propane tank hidden in the frame somewhere.

When I was racing, one of the guys in my class was protested but he surrendered his win rather than have his car taken apart. Years later I met a guy who was friends with him and he informed me the guy had a Nitrous Oxide (NO3) bottle stashed in the rear quarter panel. Anybody into drag racing will tell you that a shot of Nitrous is like adding 100 horse power. I'm not saying that I never read the rule book with a touch of creativity but this guy ran it through a paper shredder and then burned the confetti that came out.

I have no intention to hijack this thread, but its known for quite some time that you can build engines that run an almost everything ,compressed air ,hemp oil, solar power ,electric cars, water ( any water),LPG ,alcohol etc. etc.

In the book "Secrets of Cold War Technology - Project HAARP and on," Gary Vasilatosa mentions Tesla's receivers and energy that he seems to be very successful 1930th tested on the car.
Vasilatos says that Tesla had already studied the state of charged particles in a tightly packed vortex of ether (the ionosphere). Power that is manifested in the vicinity of such ethereal vortex structure was enormous, and the ether weight maintained a remarkable stability.
In such a construction set lattice would create an electrical voltage. With some metal bars in the athomic field of energy that is then created was immense.
It is known that Tesla in his work sought to stress that this etheric energy bursts started and where such energy gushed took it easy to capture special constructed receiver and put into an electric motor.
One such receiver is Tesla apparently successfully tested on the car 1930th
Story about recorded aeronautical engineer Derek Alhers, which came into contact with Tesla's cousins ??from Yugoslavia, Petar Savo, who was called by Tesla in Buffalo to test the car together, "the power". In other apparently did not trust.
It was a car brand Pierce Arrow, one of the luxury cars of that period. The car was in an electric motor about 1 meter in length and volume of about 60 cantimetara. From it were led by two thick cables connected to the front panel control. Was added and stored for 12 volt batteries.

Maximum rotor speed was 30 revolutions per second with the traction of 80 horsepower. There was the antenna tube 1.8 meters tall seated in the rear of the car.
Tesla was sitting in the passenger seat and began to set the receiver on the dashboard of energy that was greater than the ordinary short-wave radio. It contained 12 special tubes which Tesla brought with him in a small box-shaped suitcase.
Savo said that Tesla ahler receiver drafted in the hotel room. These unusual hollow tubes are precisely into place when set. When he pushed the two tubes, Tesla said that now have electricity and can turn the ignition key. Savo has done it, but nothing with not sound to be heard. But as soon as he pressed the gas the car started. All while driving any motor sound is heard.
It is not known how much the trip distance traveled for eight days as they rode, but never poured fuel.
Speed ??that they reached was 90 to 120 miles per hour.

Heard about Tesla's Receiver!
Too bad there isn't even a Sketch around.
But then,Tesla didn't need any Water,Hydrogen or anything!
If it weren't for him,we would still use Edison's D-C System!laugh

thumbs up Torley!

Actually the water would be converted to steam power to operate the cars…just like in the industrial revolution. The precedent was steam locomotion power in trains. Electric was also used frequently in local travel also by a 3 wire connection to power lines.

Canada purchased most of the trolley trains.

The problem is though; somehow we need to have an ignition to ignite the water into steam.

Old Locomotives depended on coal to do this. That is pollutant and not wise for us to grow into a greener environment. The most but real but unpopular choice today (because what is going on today) is to use a Nuclear component to change the water into steam.

Great thread Torley!

Sounds like fuel cell technology . If you take water ( H20 ) and use energy to split it apart you get H ( hydogen ) and O ( oxygen ) . If you combine them you get H2O and energy . In the case of a fuel cell it does this to make electricity ( energy ) . All this technology is decades old . The only trick is getting the hydrogen to the cell . Hydrogen can also be burned in any coventional internal combustion engine ( your car ) . Once again the trick is getting the hydogen . I don't know what this car does to produce it or even if it does it on board or not . Once again the trick is getting the hydrogen . That is why we don't have hydrogen powered anything running today .
