May 31, 2011 11:57 PM CST A question for the guys.
Emerold99: In your personal experiences with a prospective partner, what has turned you off or on in their behaviour?
What are the do's and do nots that a prospective partner should be aware of in their ability to keep your interest alive?

I would have to say going from chatting and all warm like, to being cold and no more communication.

That is a question that would have as many different answers as those who answered.

That would be an individual thing. And you would most likely have a different answer for each of the guy's experience, with each lady in his life/past!

Just my opinion...good luck with sorting through all the possibilities.

Have a great day,
-JOHN- hug

P.S. I have read Don't Sweat The Small Stuff and think this book is more about understanding how things get under the reader's skin. It teaches you how to let go of the small stuff which could help people in their relationships but I still thing "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus fit's into our everyday lives.

Yes I know John. It's all good though. I wanted a broad response, you can't please all of the people all of the time but I wanted others opinions on this matter all the same.

Sometimes people become so enclosed in their own little world that they don't see thing anything wrong. I was hoping this thread would show me -and maybe others- that various peoples personal experiences or povs of their relationships, likes and dislikes may in some small way help us all in our own endeavours to find a partner.

Your question if answered correctly would have more volumes than the "Encyclopedia Brittanica "

It has so many, many variations ......

But honestly it would e easier just to say no matter what ...

CONSIDER THE OTHER PERSONS VIEWPOINT AT ALL TIMES IN ALL EVENTS..

would you have listened if you were told Pat?

It's probably something you needed to learn for yourself. This thread here is much the same. People can say what they like, but only those truly curious will pay it any significant attention when reading.

I really like when a woman spends time to look nice for when we meet. A 'frumpy' looking woman is a turn-off....So wearing something causally cute that looks good on her is a plus....same is true for her face & hair...She doesn't have to look beautiful, just something that brings out her strong features....

As for behaviour, politeness, kindness, attentiveness, and a nice smile works for me......
