Ye we really need more geriatric homes dont we?pebblesinastream: no,when i was married, i worked too hard,didnt give enough time to home life,but i needed to to survive,you just need a compaqtible person,that loves you for who you are,through good times and bad.if v ever marry again or live with someone, i know ill hav to try and balance work and play so were both happy,but its easier now you learn frrom mistakes i hope i hav anyway.

That is admirable of you... Prowler.. really, I mean it.. I allowed myself to be last on the list for so very long.. and in the end, I felt that I might verbalise how I was feeling, so rather than do that, I said bye.. but then a little time went on, and now I can talk away what had bothered me, and I am very glad that we remain friends. He tells me that I deserve better, and I know that to be true.
So I now have a couple of choices... Either hang out for someone lovely to come by, or go back and live in a dance studio for another 20 yrs.. 
I need to decide right enough... and soonish too.

It is unavoidable to remember the 'bad' times but the good times made it all worthwhile. If you let the bad times rule you, you will never find happiness. There is someone out there who will be your life companion, it takes some searching to find that someone special. So never give up trying because one day you will find each other.

I've only just recently realised that I have sabotaged my own cause at times, I think I do it so I dont have to feel the hurt of her doing it ... It saddens that my trust issues are not about infidelity but more about sincerety ...

Sometimes I think that just having a male friend nearby would suffice and if he danced ... that would be all the better.
Funny cos, I thought I wanted all the normal stuff from my friend, but truly, right now, after having had to sit on side lines for such a long time, I am a bit wary about venturing into the romance side of stuff, I think just a friend to go out with every now and again would be lovely...
I guess I am well over just wondering if.. and perhaps when the weather get warmer I might just venture out of the door.
Truth is I am also very self sufficient and I can always find things around the house to do to keep me occupied... and then sometimes I think, It would be nice to do this same stuff with some one else about... i dont know... I just dont at this point.
