Merriweather: Hellooooo AA Where you a child once... Did you have a good time as a child, do you cherish your childhood memories..

Would you like your memories to include that someone wanted you about... ????

Or have you simply lost patience.? assuming that you once had patience, at least for yourself..
Oh you are soft and sweet like a marshmallow. kiss

Are you fond of children

Kids in general, not just yours, your friends' or your family's children

Never been a big kid lover...even though I have four of the darlings and used to feed and house all their mates etc., but I liken myself to that of the eagle, swift kick in the rear, and tell them to fly to independence..... I'm on the proverbial countdown with the last 2...frustrated laugh frustrated

I like babies, kids or all ages - except the ones who are badly behaved, have no manners, no respect, foul mouthed, bullies, and don't like the parents of these brats even more. scold

Can't stand parents who think their kids can do no wrong and back them no matter what.

PS - I have renewed my membership for the GOW Club (Grumpy Old Women) and I am proud of it! thumbs up cheering applause

That myself i will never know (real children)

Bit disapointed now (too old).

Sad thread :( Re:- My Son.

He was my only child & i enjoyed being his dad for 12 plus years

I used to love summer when he was alive coz all the neighbors kids used to come & take him for walks play with him & make him feel like part of their families.

& it gave him a break from me

Sounds really sad sad flower

Children are the most wonderful gift you could receive, they trust you for every thing, driving them in the car, feeding them ect, then comes the death of one of your children and your soul is just ripped apart. Leaving a big gap that nothing can fill?

LOVE ALL THE LITTLE ONES THEY ARE OUR FUTURE

Hey Lookin' I didn't know you had suffered this loss. That's very sad as you said and it must be hard to always be so cheerful - well here on these threads. i can't imagine how it would be - how long ago? Don't answer if y ou'd rather not do that on here.

I love children myself; always have and I find it so much easier to get instant rapport with them, unlike with adults. I can't wait to get grandchildren. My three are grown up now.
When mine were young I did live in fear at times that I might lose one of them or that they might get molested or something. Yes, it's a bad trait of mine to fear the worst, Yes, I know to only think of the positives and not dwell on what might be and might never happen, but I couldn't help it.
I nearly lost one as a teenager and it was like a hit from a sledgehammer.
From my second marriage I also have 3 ex-step children who I love and now a little "ex-step-foster-child" work that one out. Kids are such fun.

i like kids...(thats a good thing now that im going to be a mummy haha) i like other peoples kids, as long as they are behaved...what i cant stand is those people that are constantly screaming at their children and then have the nerve to say yeah my kids are really naughty and they dont listen to me...perhaps if they didnt yell their kids would be better behaved...

You are so right Tutorgirl; those people have trained their kids not to listen by going on and on but never following through. If they followed through they would not need to yell. And there's no need to be a tyrant like some who come up with extreme punishments if the kid doesn't instantly obey.
