What it means, if guy steps out from 5 month realtionship, saying he dont want to loose a woman but wants to be only friend now? What do you think, can you translate this from mens language to womens language, please? :)

if I am understanding your post it is his way of saying that he does not want the relationship - offerring the idea to stay friends is most likely his way of trying to be nice and not hurt you too badly.
likely he has found someone else
I'd agree to the friendship but then make yourself unavailalbe to him. If he wants you it has to be somewhat on your terms and if a platonic friendship is not what you want then don't do it. I wouldn't , unless it was also what I want.
Then he will have to choose - he might decide he wants more (to come back) & he might not - either way you're no worse off AND you have not allowed him to have his cake and eat it too - and maintained your dignity

He's not interested in a short term/long term relationship and all the fringes that come with it. He doesn't mind it being on a friend to friend basis but that’s it. There is no sentimental/romantic/physical love, no commitment.

Heard that one before, why can't they just tell the bloody truth. Don't beat around the bush.

It happened to me a few times, it means i was sending the signal and the receptor was broken so i had to brake it.
Its a diplomatic way saying the relation is over, and by wanted to remain friends,is like saying,is better to finish the relationship as friends, than as enemies.JMO

saying it just allows THEM to feel less guilty...
exactly - when I read Vinny's reply this is exactly what I also thought. He might mean exactly what he says - but guys so often use the "friend zone" to either let you down easy or try to have it both ways (FWB)

was thinking before.....is there an easy way that wont hurt anyone...to end a relationship
rivame: was thinking before.....is there an easy way that wont hurt anyone...to end a relationship
probably not - unless just by coincidence the two just agree that it has come to it's logical conclusion - both want out equally - there is some sadness that it did not work but not the terrible hurt
