Time out is so important for our well-being, just to 'be', and take our minds away from our daily routines.

Feelgood stuff, you know, simple pleasures

What have you done for you lately

Well this is really is off the track, but I was so happy. Had a meeting with my daughters teacher. They said her grades are enough for uni. Daughter is 14 nearly 15, but quite mature, she wanted to do childcare, always has wanted to.The teacher suggested she do bachelor of education for early childhood, that way there are many levels you can climb. yay

Well, you have wildlife which is so nice as well. Maybe have something that they don't like to eat, is it kangaroos and things that attack your plants?

That heady scent of jasmine captures me every time too... Years ago here I had a moonflower growing on my fence, because it was a creeper, I thought it would survive no matter what I did, and removed the fence and replaced it...but it never grew back. It was the most enchanting flower... scentual and ethereally beautiful.

What is the botanical name for moonflower. I have done my plant id cert 4, but have never heard of it. some plants just don't like being disturbed.

Hi! Kirsta wave there is no botanical name for moonflower that is the correct name for it.

Moonflowers are nocturnal bloomers hence the name speaks for itself , perfect for the night owls and late night strollers , after sunset these huge white flowers bloom & glow in the moonlight all night long amazing and the fragrant is just beautiful.

Then as the sun rises they close their fragrance bloom.

They are a great climber and hardy except they do not fair well in frost climates can handle a mild frost so would be good idea to plant near house protective area. They do very well in dry tough soils W.A is an example of the climate that suits them

you can plant them from cuttings or buy the seeds.

I have grown moonflower and yes it is a beautiful climber. Worth looking into.
