In mt work as a 'researcher' , if you will, I have a copy of a book of absolutely verifiable quotes by many famous American and other nationals all the way back to the classical Greek and Roman authors historians and politicians on what they said and or wrote regarding the Jews. Most of what was said or written by famous Americans has been mostly edited out of recent works and even so called biographical movies., such as the new on on Lincoln by Mr Playmountain or as you know him David Spielberg. If ever in doubt as to the quotations, all sources are given for easy verification. Many of the early bios of many famous American politicians, Presidents, etc. are no longer in print but can be verified by most University Libraries or archives.
The name of this valuable book is "What Did They Think Of The Jews" edited by Allan Gould,published by Stewart House,1991, 615 pages. This book for many uses is near priceless. You say that you have never heard of this topic in your schools...Schools in your country are a joke to the reat of the world as you are denied knowledge to so many things in your own history, never mind the rest of the world. Find a copy and take off the State imposed blinders. If you don't like the truth, you can put them again and go into denial. A nice, comfortable if dull way to live your life...
(then there are old copies of the Jewish Press available, "the largest circulation of any Anglo-Jewish Weekly newspaper in the world" as they call it. A treasure trove for real historians and researchers!)

In 1790, in a marked sign of religious tolerance, Washington sent a letter to the Jewish community in Rhode Island, writing "May the Children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants; while every one shall sit under his own vine and fig tree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.""

And since you brought this up with your less-than-considerate commentary on our education system, let me just add that there is PLENTY of room to go around on this subject. One look at the numerous international comments regarding our current national events (Obamacare,etc.) shows a huge, gaping flaw in the accuracy of information you are getting over there.
