That's a problem. In short, you cannot post your own pictures to the threads here. They must come from a webpage, somewhere. A photobucket account will solve that problem.
Then, too, you can only post images to Picture Threads and Polls. (Why this is, I don't know. You can post Youtube links to any thread.)
To post, here's what you need to do:
1. Find the pic on whatever webpage it's on (like, say, photobucket). Right-click on it, select Properties, and copy the entire address.
2. In your Forums message, type this (without the extra spaces used here for illustration):
[ img ] pastetheaddressyoucopiedhere [ / img ]
3. (And MOST IMPORTANT) Use the Preview button to make sure you got it right.
Then, too, you can only post images to Picture Threads and Polls. (Why this is, I don't know. You can post Youtube links to any thread.)

Maybe if you put in your real photo instead of the fake one you currently have, it would make more sense to do that 1st, Maria , 33 from St. Petersburg.

Yes, I forgot to mention that step: if you want to upload your photos to the forums, first you have to make sure they are YOUR photos.

Sure Merri, she COULD be the same gal, on another innocent site...but there's a dozen pro-model studio shots on that other site, and she's only bothered to upload 3 of the same here? And all are studio shots -- no casuals, no homemade or self-shot pics. You know of any real users with no candid or casual photos?
And, speaking of...look what she was asking for advice about. Obviously she already knows how to upload photos to her profile. But she hasn't used all that space yet and could still upload 3 more of her professional studio shots. So why does she want to post pics in the forums?
Oh, and if wholly innocent, why use different names on different sites?

Hi Merri, First of all she misrepresented herself saying she was from France. Secondly, IF she is from St. Petersburg, Russia she MIGHT be a scammer. We had someone on CS who almost got hooked by a Russian scammer. Russian scammers are all over the internet. IF she is a scammer her profile will probably disappear. IF she's from St. Petersburg, Florida, she might be a U.S. citizen in France. It's hard to tell at this point what she's all about.

I mean.. cripes, why would you bother for this site... not denigrading this site of course, but more that no one else bothers to pay for shots to put up... I mean.. we shove on any pic , good and bad.. dont matter, because by now, I reckon for us who have been here some, it dont matter too much, we have got each others measure..
But maybe the lass couldn't make up her mind to what name she liked..

Then you retired.. and did not have a computer, and went to the local computer store to log in... this was back in the days when laughs were a plenty...
and then I switched to the aussie forums and all of a sudden, Snugs disappeared and MonteMonte came on..
n I remember one night, there was a todo going on, and I saved ya... called you by Snugs.. to say... its OK.. I know you dont have a bad bone in your body... lol... funny to remember all this..

Very good Merri. I went to the library to log on. Snugs (me) disappeared because she accidentally deleted her profile instead of hiding it when she was having foot surgery. The time you said I didn't have a bad bone in my body was when someone attacked me. Eventually that person got booted off CS but I think she's back under another name.
