Conrad73: Nope, you have made the assertion,it's up to you to prove it!

A notable point Conrad but I merely threw a bone out there for the earnest truth-seeker to follow up on. In my experience it seems that this Eternal, All-pervading Spirit, call it what you may, wants each souls to discover It by its own individual path. So there are as many paths as there are souls.

I am offering the method I learned of because I believe it may work for you as well though not necessarily so.

unlaoised: ...in YOUR opinion!

No, just having a conversation. Isnt that the point is to discuss things? The best conversations are respected by each other, everyone has different opinions, that's what make life interesting. It would really suck if everyone thought the same thing. But its okay, in your own words... in YOUR opinion. comfort handshake

Any opinion I state here is just that...my opinion. Plenty of people don't agree with it and that's as it should be. It sometimes makes for great debates handshake

Oregongold: Respectfully, who CREATED life first? You cant answer that. Try as you can, you cant. BTW, if God doesn't exist, then you and I don't exist and this conversation never took place so then I cant remember what the f*** you are talking about.
look up abiogenesis that will explain many of your questions.

When you look at all the hatred around, you pray to the higher heavens that there is some Godly entity to deal with them. CS is no exception, in fact it is inspiration for me to pray heartily tonight before bed laugh

I have to ask, what does praying do for you, personally? Is it a release, relieving you of your mortal sins, and does it give you a sense of relief of any kind?

Not knocking you, just curious, as I've never seen at as anything more then just talking to yourself, with the intent of allowing yourself to go on with your status quo.

I could be wrong, it happens, a lot more often than I'd like to admit. laugh

I think at the lowest level it motivates and focuses your thoughts, whether it puts you in touch with another dimension of things I don't know, but it sometimes seems to work a bit, but that could be normal chance happening, but I'll continue praying as it seems to help me.

None of us have the answers and my advice to anyone would be if you seem to get results, or you like it where's the harm.

There is a very potent force of evil in the world, sometimes you can even feel it, it must be good to focus yourself on good.

Thanks for the information that you have shared.
I believe you have read the Holy Bible. Nothing happened by chance or by itself. The world we are in was created by Almighty God together with his son (The Word) and God the Holy Spirit. I have read the Bible a number of times and I am still reading it now. I like to read five chapters in the morning after saying a word of prayer. I always pray after concluding my reading. I am thankful to Almighty God for his mercy, salvation and grace. Without his love, I wouldn't be here today. He prolongs life so that people may repent of their disbelief, their sins and come to acknowledge his Kingship, authority and love upon humans, Jesus came to this world bringing God's Kingdom to us. He is standing at the door of your heart and he is knocking every minute. Why don't you give him the opportunity to come into your life and transform you into his image and likeness. You see my friend, Jesus came into this world so that you may life (in the now) and have it more abundantly (New Jerusalem). He is the way to the New or Heavenly Jerusalem. You need to repent of your sins and accept Jesus as Lord of your life today. 1 John 1:9 "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness".
Jesus is Lord of heaven and earth. He is alive and is a spirit God. Those who worship him must worship him in truth and in the spirit. Be Blessed my friend!

I would like to point out that my post does not mention God, and I think organised religion is a scam, my answer was to Kid, and from a human perspective. I do not believe in religious zealotry of any kind. Nor dogmatism.

Yet,all the "Evidence" you have is the word of some People a generation after the supposed "Fact",plus a few fraudulent passage inserted into the Chronicles of some Historians, who incidentally also lived a considerable time after the supposed event!

Obstinance_Works: If there really was a master of all creation then he's not going to spend his time revolving around us. Imo, a supreme being would barely even notice Humanity in the same way that Humanity pays no accord to the life of the ant, I really don't see this supreme being fulfilling the role of provider-husband for Humanity.
