Being a Kiwi, would you chuck on a barbeque? haul me along to a beer tasting pub? Take me fishing?
Have the coolest pool room to descend on?
Craw fish and the best blues night spot.
Amazing mountain treks. No bears included.
Wicked scenery, on horse back.

welcome to my world? I live in Ohio and you're welcome to it...lollaugh

Let's see...we'll start off with some 70mph bumper to bumper traffic to go to one of the numerous malls (the favorite pastime here I think) only to sit at the exit ramp for 30 minutes at 5 mph ....

then we can watch the corn and soybeans grow on the outside of town...on the way back we can get stuck in traffic for the OSU game that we can't afford tickets to

next we can go out for dinner at one of many amazing restaurants like Sushi Rock in downtown Columbus....after we of course get stuck in downtown traffic because 3 of the 4 lanes leading into town are closed and after 45 minutes to find a parking space...I'm hungry!

(if you see a trend? it's the traffic...in Columbus Ohio? who'da thought...lol)

felixis99: you're welcome! We really have more to do here than get stuck in traffic but it's hard to get out of the traffic long enough to enjoy....

we have a beautiful local park system here with miles of hiking trail through mountains and praries and along the lakes. Lake Erie is a serious party town as well as beautiful and amazing.

We also have the Adena Indian Mounds here...a fascinating prehistoric Indian culture (we call them the Mound Builders). One of the first peoples to cultivate the ground in the new world. We can visit the many burial preserved here - mostly along rivers.

Canoeing on the river is a great pastime in Ohio too!

Thank you canoeing is great! you see so much! Lake Erie sounds fun, yet I would love to check out the lake. The Mound Builders, wow as living on a farm would love to see the land. Thank you so much!

you're welcome. I would love to see New Zealand too. To my knowledge, much of the Lord of the Rings films were made there and the land is beautful! Also Canada. I fell in love with Canada when I saw the film "Fly Away Home."
