Yeah, yeah... but it's written by Jimmy Page - wrote lots of Glen Campbell's songs- I saw Glen in concert a few yrs. ago & he really had a lot of admiration for him. Actually, it's more that I love the music & voice - I love great voices, but once in a while I find I really love one that's not such a great singer - and still love it.On that other thread - someone posted I'm Easy- Keith Carradine - I always loved that one, too - relaxing(and introed my husband to it- he liked it as well).
Oh, here's one I can't stand, but my spouse loves - Jimmy Ruffin - "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted" - Jimmy Ruffin is fine - I just hate the song(I expect I'm the only one that feels that way)
"All By Myself" -Eric Carmen - is a popular dislike. My dad(he worked the nightshift, so had the radio to block out noise while he slept when us kids got home from school) once said, "That song came on the radio when I fell asleep and it was still playin' when I woke up."

glenn campell is doing bad.. saw his show a few months ago.. he did witchata lineman three times. he has Alzheimers. his daughter plays with him to help keep him straight during his shows... its very sad
