Five strands, one has 90% mortality rate.

Is this the virus that will end humanity or will the scientists find a cure just in time?

Or

The 10% that survive, will they create a super human race?

On the news yesterday they said that some guy flew from Sierra Leone to Liberia to Ghanna, and finally to Nigeria where he got sick and they found he had Ebola. This is going to be how this virus spreads unless the world bans all unnecessary travel to these countries.

What is unnecessary travel?

I have to fly for business and to visit my family often myself, "these countries" are big, not entering them for business or family affairs for any length of time simply won't work.

If Ebola gets going travel will be stopped , end of story . This disease works the same as the rabbit haemorrhagic disease . Spreads easier as the bunny one needs a flea . Ebola its contact with fluid ,surfaces that have sweat on . Dr's are catching it dressed in garb that looks like NBC gear .

KNenagh's epitaph "I FLEW OFTEN " its serious if it can't be stopped .

It will be stopped when a lot more people get infected through travelling and bringing it into other areas, but it's not something which will happen soon or done lightly.

I do know that it is serious and I can understand that people want to get out of an area where infections are, but it's up to people not to travel if you are in this area.

Won't be happening though.

not this time, apparently the Ebola virus from Liberia is supper deadly and there is no cure for it thus far. They also said you cannot contract it from eating well cooked meat, you contract it while handling raw bush meat such as bats, monkeys. ..etc.

I heard also, that some of the people of the area, because of their particular beliefs, think that doctors are spreading it, and refuse to acknowledge how the medics tell them this disease is spreading...

It moved well past the bush meat stage , person to person is where its at . Some years back when it flared up , the DR's bolted . When the DR's leave the building it's serious .

LOL! Well,....uh,...yeah,....the 10%,....not exactly superhumans,....but yes,...there will be those Homo sapiens who can survive (evolve) that survive who will pass on their traits of immunity,....such is the way of life!

Signed,...that .1% bacteria that survived the Lysol attack (lol,...kills only 99.9 percent? Hmmm,...lets see....275 billion of us per square inch,....) that now prowls the corridors of your local hospital

and the doctors are leaving... I heard on the radio, a segment from a doctor who returned... and he says the situation there around doctors and nurses is dire..

he was saying that some wards have 60 odd people, and maybe on some days... just one or two nurses... sometimes the nurses don't come to work, depending on whatever they have heard or seen, along with that others from the villages are saying rubbish around misplaced beliefs on how to catch it, including, that the doctors are actually infecting patients..

going by the rabbits ,and it is a fair comparison as bunnies are used in labs , the ones left alive are skinny ratty little sods . One lost its ears to RCD . It (RCD) went through again and killed a lot more ,just like Ebola doing aye , the ones around now are immune and seem healthy . This disease ,Ebola , kills the same way .

Without purposely enciting a Darwinian debate,....natural selection is just that,....survive the attack and pass on the traits. Ebola will evolve, as will those it attacks. Failure to evolve = extinction,...then again,...Ebola does not want to TOTALLY eliminate all of its hosts for that = extinction!

At over 7 billion strong, humans are in no immediate danger of extinction,....

Signed the lawyer who tried to convince the dinosaurs to put him on retainer!
