Olympus put out another firmware update for my camera (as well as updates for Panasonic and other four-thirds lens) the update contained interesting changes

Olympus E-M1 firmware upgrade : Olympus announces a firmware upgrade for the OM-D E-M1 body that adds two new features
The software upgrade comes with 9-fps sequential autofocus on top of the OM-D’s benchmark Dual Fast AF, refocusing for each frame to deliver pin-sharp stills with zero blur. It also makes the Olympus E-M1 camera compatible with the latest version of OI.Share (v2.5), which in turn enables Live View control during video recording via a WiFi-connected smartphone. The Olympus OM-D firmware upgrade is available from 24 February on via the Olympus Digital Camera Updater.

Oh... that is interesting...

I know my Panasonic is compatible with Olympus, and Leica... and I have purchased a Leica lens now.. I must say it is beaut..

Since I spoke last, I have entered into Nat Geo, and joined a small local group, about to collect some images for SALA.. and joined with lots of pro photographers, done shoots, etc etc..

I guess I now have four lenses, and that will be enough for me at the moment.

The other thing that was nice, I was messing about with an old brownie camera that shoots with film..(actually, there is no film for it, but can use paper cut to size) how nice was that experience, and how damn heavy are these old machines ... this one was a hand held, as it had a strap... wave

So, if your cannon becomes compatible with Olympus, you might be able to get some nice Leica too... ??

Merriweather: A neighbors tree quite far away...

Happy with this potential..
Just stumbled on this thread Merri wave What a great start to my spring which is coming into play right here shortly, looking at everyone's lovely pics on here. what kind of tree is this? I think it is awesome! My favorite of course is the banyan laugh I have said that so often in life I feel like a broken record.

Hi Happygirl... wave

To be honest, I don't rightly know, except that once a year it flowers... I would say it is a native of some kind...

But the favourite trees in my street, are not mine, but the Liquid Ambers that my neighbors have... and they look their best in the autumn... so I will remember to take a shot..
