Actually ali the blue is for the men and the pink is for the women.

because of regional names, and names that are androgynous, it is a quick reference so you know it is a lady or a gentleman.

Because traditionally, in the west at least, boys are represented by blue, and girls by pink.
Babies are often dressed in these colours to make it easier to distinguish them easily.
