Almost half the planet was not alive when that man died. Outside of Ireland it is probably not a name taught to school children. So to half the planet, the answer is, Who?

Both. That's what made him great.
BTW, Chris, the Situation in the North of Ireland was not a religion thing. It was a Political Cultural thing, where most of the different opinions were aligned to different faiths. But you would have to characterise it correctly as political. Not religious
I always say to people, some of our Greatest patriots were in fact Protestants. And I always remind people that the IRA were ideologically, Atheists.
