Somewhere in between those two options would be cool.

Casual is meaningless for me. I'd rather be on my own.

I couldn't offer a full me in a committed relationship right at this point in time.

... perhaps someone who is attracted to me as I am to him, a boyfriend/girlfriend arrangement....that doesn't mean friends with benefits....it means exclusive. Someone I can be spontaneous with, pick up the phone and call and get away for the weekend at the last minute. Someone who understands I can't be available to him all the time. I do miss being with a man....the emotional and physical intimacy.

Which is the better way?

Each to their own.

Depends on their circumstances.

Neither is right nor wrong.

Well, if you'r good at knitting, I think you should commit to making jumpers for the whole family.

If on the other hand you can barely knit a square, it's probably best to keep it a casual hobby. Nobody needs all that many wonky, holey squares.

As Rumpole would say, a very autistic answer.

For myself I am committed if I love someone, they have my undivided love always.

Having said that i have known some very strong minded women and I don't believe anyone should be dominated and used because of their devotion.

But I believe a couple in a relationship should be committed to each other 100%.

Nothing wrong with a strong-minded woman Tom, but I do get you on not needing to be dominated. I run and duck for cover if someone is being too controlling. Though having said that, I prefer strong men who take control of the wheel occasionally...especially in certain areas of the partnership.

I think whatever both want, and need, at that precise moment in time, is what is best.
