I think that one thing that is a big turn off is when you encounter some people that either have set out to manipulate others to believing that they are something very much unlike what they are in the current reality and then those that have somehow brainwashed themselves into believing the facade they portray to the "online" communities. I might even pity some though I do not see what good that would bring.

Dragos, how are you?

Nice to hear from your points of viev.

Yes indeed. The Cameleon people. You know? They have so many agenda and what fits their needs at the moment suits their acts. Good when they need you but in reality just too negative.. Anyways, be careful. wave

lindsyjones: Just love you CC.

So how is your fishing trip with the neighbor? Going well I hope..

Nice to read you CC.

I love you too lindsy.wave rolling on the floor laughing

The fishing trips have been very interesting and lots of fun to say the least.

Haven't even left Ohio as yet but hopefully will venture out soon.

Had a very bad lightening strike last night which knocked everyone on my block power out.It was so still and quiet afterwards that I could actually hear the semis and other vehicles on the highway.

Hello. mmmm, but but not really what I am saying Lindsay. The Chameleon can blend in and still remain genuine without being deceptive. Sometimes even flattering. But the people that base their life on actual fiction and "fakery" can really be a let down. And as I mentioned, some of these people are likely self-deluded in the scheme of things. Now as for people that will "use" you to suit thier needs? yes, that is another that is best to avoid. But of course all this brings us back to the "Are you Happy Single" thread! LOL. right???

CC I am so glad it is going well with him.

It is mild here at 41 degrees CC but even in the BAy area, it is like 56 degrees which is unusual for this time of the year specially in San Francisco.teddybear

I get it Dragos, the delusionals. Well there is a term from that Dragos I mean being out of reality is the core of that trait.

But they are easily spotted on, I think. Then again who are we to change their perceptions. Perhaps all this around us are all really an illusion?

I am sure depends on who we are and where we are, Dragos. But the reality of it is that we all need that kind of shield to make us able to live day to day. bouquet

I know that people do use this sometimes to make them feel like they are something bigger than life and be it at some point quite obvious would you not be disappointed had you based your friendship or possibly even more on "their" delusions and finding at some awkward moment that it was all an act? I find that caustic. If they choose to deceive me then I have no desire to be part of that situation. I suppose if you are in a "play" or on stage then that is entirely different. But as for doing that in real life or even online I think it is not honest. zero. Once we can see who we are we can make the choice to be that person or actually make real life changes if we are not satisfied with the "real" person. Think about the many people that have been taught to believe so many lies that they use as an excuse to Murder and kill others in that fictional life. yeah??? ;-}

Yes indeed Dragos and that is so sad. There is nothing more sad than being used and being fraudulently led to believe who they are based on their scheme.

But this is the downside of being on the web Dragos. It is so easy to make this place as their stage to play out their scheme.

Be very careful is all I can say. I found two great love of real people here and I am very careful not to fall onto any of the traps that is set to make us victims.

Anyways, the reality of it, is that there are always good people here and or outside of this site. But if a person on here makes them happy playing with us, the real ones. (I am real, whether anyone believes that or not), and met so many people here from all over the world, in person. Unfortunately no one can control that. But be very careful. Go to the basics of checking out if a person is real or not. I know money being used to fraud someone is bad but even worst when emotions are played to get being used.

Be careful Dragos.sad flower teddybear

Thanks Lindsy, no need worry about me. And I see it on and offline. I have been out and about enough to see more than I would probably share on the web. lol. But thanks for the nice thoughts.

Welcome Dragos. Stay true to yourself even as there are delusional and out of reality people all around us. We can't completely blame them, this is part of life, or it would be so boring I guess. jmpo.

Take care.bouquet

lindsyjones: I have posted "what truly turns you on" and figured it is also important to know what truly turns us off.

I can present some of it myself like: Neglect, the failure to nourish what makes love grow. Control, I mean unreasonable power of the other person to manipulate and make all the decisions without much regard as to the feelings of the other.

Can you share some that truly piss you off?

Thank you all for your participation.

I'm turned off by people who cut me off in the middle of a sentence especially when I'm trying to explain the short version of a story etc.

I'm also turned off who enjoy goating me into a childish and petty disagreement when I'm in a very good mood.
