I think so too, especially with the big egos entering the management scene.. If you lot are to compete with the big boys, you need to buy big, no last minute panic buys like in recent seasons.

I think we need a striker, end of.
I think we seriously underperformed last season and missing Wilshire, Ox and Ramsey for long parts of the season seriously hindered us. I think our squad is as good as anyone's but lack leaders. Hoping Zhaka can fill that role.

Zhaka is a good addition to your squad but I'm not sure he's the answer to your problems.
Talent wise, you are as good, if not better than the top teams but it seems there's a mental block at the critical stages of the season.. Maybe Wenger should look for a leader with experience, rather than just for his talents.

Yeah maybe. He likes to let players evolve and grow, and am guessing he would have thought Ramsey or Wilshire would have evolved by now. Injuries have not helped either of them and when you are in and out of the team it's hard to lead, but they both have that steel if needed. There's a fiery side to Zhaka too.
Think Kante is a great signing for you guys.
Will be interested to see your defensive shape as Conte will want that unit to be solid from day one.
