If he doesn't want to listen to advice, about scammers, in the
Internet, then he will find out in due course, how foolish he was,
to to listen to those, trying to to open his eyes and mind about
scammers.dunno
secretagent09: One said he's not best friends with the guy. It seems it's something he's observing probably cause the guy talks about this woman all the time.

If the guy is happy in his senior years then I wouldn't get involved in his business.

He might tell One to mind his own business. Then a work relationship might suffer.

She's a scammer. If One really wants to help this guy it would be better to show him stories where men have been taken financially by women like this. The guy will never believe what someone says. He needs to read it and even then he might think that she would never do that to him.

If I were in One's shoes I would suggest to the guy to stop sending her stuff, stop calling and see how long it goes before she contacts him again.

I'm not into relationship games but in this case I think it is warranted.

If One wants to avoid having the regret that he didn't tell the guy what's going on he could tell him once. When the ball drops he won't have any regrets.

One2note: I doubt anyone can top that.
It's amazing how some men, even women , can be that cruel..., the problem nowadays is that these incidences are becoming more frequent & spoil it for the few genuine men Left on this planet.
I hope this hasn't left you too scarred & don't let this man dictate any future relationships that may come your way.
....ah, thank's for the kind words...no...once I got over the pain I became determined that his horrible actions would not turn me into a bitter person.....expensive lesson though!!...handshake

OgGoDeo: Hi One2n....I definitely agree with you that love is blind.....somebody blinded by it will never listen to anybody else's advice.....I met a fella from Northern Irl a few year's after my husband had died from MS when he was only 36.... children very young at the time etc...etc...long story short this fella crashed two brand new Passats belonging to me.....the first one was only about 5 months old....insurance paid up for that one so I went ahead and got another one.....unbelievable as it may seem....three months later he wrote off that one as well....due to some technality the Insurance Company would not pay up!....even with tbe stress of this happening my only thoughts were that he had not been injured.....long story short about a week later I came home from work to find that he had disappeared off the face of the earth.....to this day I never saw or heard from him again.....he left me with a bill for €30,000 and, not to mention, a very broken heart.....

Yeah, you've got mine beat as well, OGD wow But yes, like you...much wiser this go around and I refuse to let my ex make me bitter either bouquet

P.S. What is it about Northern Ireland guys? Yup, mine was from there as well...

And before you ask One2Note...YES, we had met in person and he would come stay in my city I lived in for weeks at a time, several times each year...once for 3 months even rolling on the floor laughing It's the hindsight thing though doh

One2note: Have you, or do you know anyone who has been taken for a ride by a partner??
Have you ever been so smitten with a person, that you're oblivious to what's going on in front of your very eyes or are you so in love with that person, that you choose to ignore advice from friends.. Are you the last person to find out what you already knew but choose to ignore, whether it's a cheating partner or a money grabbing Ho??

Here goes another suicide post..

Oh yeah, love is blind alright...got caught in it twice so I'm kinda following the saying...fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...not sure what the third one would be and don't think I care to know either. laugh

Yep, do know people that were absolutely blind or didn't want to see what was going on.

No one is perfect and I think wearing "pink glasses" is necessary when being together with someone to overlook some things on the other half and not strangle them about it. I haven't been with a bad person or someone that ever did something awful to me. I have overlooked things because I liked someone but have never done something stupid like marrying them. wave

Why do you think it's okay to take a man to the cleaners? I am totally against it especially in divorce cases. I'm not talking about child support. I'm referring to alimony.

I was taken to the cleaners in the scenario I posted in the beginning of this thread. It's not a good feeling when someone you love does that to you and then disappears.
