If the guy is happy in his senior years then I wouldn't get involved in his business.
He might tell One to mind his own business. Then a work relationship might suffer.
She's a scammer. If One really wants to help this guy it would be better to show him stories where men have been taken financially by women like this. The guy will never believe what someone says. He needs to read it and even then he might think that she would never do that to him.
If I were in One's shoes I would suggest to the guy to stop sending her stuff, stop calling and see how long it goes before she contacts him again.
I'm not into relationship games but in this case I think it is warranted.
If One wants to avoid having the regret that he didn't tell the guy what's going on he could tell him once. When the ball drops he won't have any regrets.
