As we all look forward to stuffing our faces, lets all think about that time when Santa was injured when the Meth lab he was running in Santa's castle exploded.
"FLORENCE, KY – The man who filled the role of Santa Clause at the Florence Mall was injured this week inside Santa’s Castle due to an explosion in the meth lab he was operating. Florence residents have known thirty-seven year old Jimmy Don Sherman as Santa for over ten years.
Mall officials say several of Santa’s elves who are suspected meth users were also injured in the explosion. The food court was closed for hours while crews removed elf appendages from several stores after the explosion.
Police say the investigation uncovered a vast network of meth production and distribution including detailed understanding of how Santa’s elves regularly stole ingredients for the meth lab from drugstores in the mall vicinity.
Devastated Florence Mall holiday shoppers say they recognized the familiar cooking odor of the meth lab within the mall but assumed it came from the numerous other meth labs in the community. “Meth labs around here is common. I drive by three just to get to my trailer.” said Independence resident, Rosalie Hughes "

To Everyone,
I guess it's obvious that I'm doing a poor job of keeping up with the Countdown, and I don't think that's going to change over the next few weeks.
Life is keeping me on my toes.
Instead of a Destination-Themed Countdown, how about simply a Christmas/Holiday-themed Countdown.
Anything Christmas/Holiday goes.
As Lookin would say....Lubs y'all

I wrote a letter to Santa
To make sure he would know
It's only two weeks until Christmas,
And we still don't have any snow.
Just didn't want his reindeer
To have to work too hard.
I was afraid they might get stuck
In the mud outside in our yard.
I mailed my letter on Monday,
Only two days ago.
As I dropped it in the mailbox,
It slowly started to snow.
It's been snowing ever since,
More as each day goes by.
I'm getting kind of worried now
That Santa will think I lied.
I'll write another letter,
And mail it off today.
Tell Santa not to worry,
There'll be lots of snow for his sleigh.
