I may be on thin ice here because my knowledge of both religion and politics is sketchy, to say the least. I’ve noticed that the people who push the Bible at you the hardest, when talking about what’s wrong with society, are the ones who tend to have the most right wing, intolerant views, this seems particularly prevalent within a particular brand of American Christianity. This is at odds with what little I think I know about the Bible. So, I was just wondering: Based on what Jesus taught, and the example he set, would you say the way he would want us to live our lives is more in accordance with left wing or right wing ideology?
I know Jesus wasn’t political. I’m not trying to say he was.

the bible also states Jesus will return sometime in the future, a final judgment will be issued to all...
I'm not saying it all again, if you want to know you'll have to go back and read the other posts. If you have the patience to read the Bible, reading a few posts should be a doddle.

In the first post you mentioned intolerance. What do you mean by that?
Harbal: Intolerant of people who don't agree with the Bible, for one thing.
I don't see that where I live here in the heart of the bible belt, nor do I remember it happening in Arizona, Michigan. Tennessee or California when I lived in those states. Most people go to church on Sundays. I don't, but very rarely does anyone knock on the door trying to save me. Maybe once or twice a year a couple friendly Jehovah Witness will drop by and leave a tract and chat for a couple minutes, but it really doesn't offend me. People are friendly, charitable, and tolerant around here and I very much enjoy living here. They must really try and cram it down you throat over there, for you to feel so offended by it.
Miwagi: I don't see that where I live here in the heart of the bible belt,
I was thinking more of here, on this very forum. It doesn't offend me, it irritates me. Besides, that's not the point, No one seems to want to answer the question in the original post.

Well it wouldn't be much of a discussion if all you were doing was preaching to the choir.

Jesus/God can see our intentions and thoughts/feelings/emotion before time began
