If someone doesn't trust me, I shan't allow them to be part if my life.
Some people don't even want you to have friends of the other gender (or the same gender in extreme cases) and that level of possessiveness would be a total red flag to me.
If you happen to be lucky enough to have a good relationship with your ex, I see that in a much more positive light than someone who is bitter and hate-filled about exes.

and scanned for drugs, i guess i will always think of you , when going through security now
