I am Belgian, speak french, dutch and several other languages, even the belgian french is different from the french in France...but, when it depends on the right explenations, both are simular.
More than that, it was not only about the fact that the expression is wrong, but it is about being helpful to you, and learning to use a different language in the right sentence. Your reaction is therefore childish, not that of both other ladies.
I would say, go play yourself if you can´t stand critism.

I was even going to add...to be completely in correct: You can't use a TU in a part of a sentence...and VOUS and the next part!
