I was married 28 years and was divorced 5 years ago (not my choice). I feel that most people don't take marriage seriously enough to ride out the tough times that happen. There's a reason why the marriage vows contain the words " for better or worse, in sickness and health" It's to let people know that these things will happen so be prepared for them when they do.fear marriage,fear divorce too
I do not fear marriage, but do fear divorce. After going through the humiliation of one I never wanted or thought would happen. I never want to go through that again.
Although at this time I'm not making any effort to find someone, that doesn't mean I wouldn't get married again if the right one came along. I just hope if I do it again, there is no divorce.
