After taking care of all the questions engendered by your profile, her profile, your messages, and her message, then you can go on to email. No phone, no address, and no meeting prior to Skype, or hangouts, or something like that. How to transition from email to those is up to you.

Use apps that don't share your personal information first. Yahoo messenger, Voxer ... When transitioning to email make sure it is a dummy one (again something without a lot of personal information. Photos can be faked, video calls cannot. But always make sure you trust the person enough to transition to something more personal.

I agree with Mikey...which rarely happens by the way....skip the long talks by e-mail and phone a couple of those should suffice and just do it...meet and decide if you want to continue to get to know each other...its as simple as that.....
