In Roman Catholic moral theology, a mortal sin requires that all of the following conditions are met:

•Its subject matter must be grave.
•It must be committed with full knowledge (and awareness) of the sinful action and the gravity of the offense.
•It must be committed with deliberate and complete consent

I don't know anything about certain conditions, however I do know of two 'sins' that can not be given to restitution. They are:

The first: murder.

The 2nd... Taking a woman's virginity

All other sins there can be restitution made.
It is obvious that God takes the taking of a woman's virginity on par with "murder".. Both being sacred?
What ordinance can help us then?

For the latter we have the covenant of marriage.

For the former we have the death penalty (eye for an eye)

Hi, Mustang, are you Catholic?

I am catholic, I have NEVER heard of that it is a mortal sin to "take a woman's virginity"

I am pretty sure that going to a private Catholic (all girls school) for many years (LOL) the nuns, or the priests, would have mentioned it .. or my learning of Catholicism, i.e one hour of studies of the Catholic Bible and it's Commandment, every school day or Mass on a Sunday, etc... this would have surfaced .... I would appreciate perhaps you can show me a reference to that "Mortal Sin"..
Cheers..

Bless me Father for I have sinned. This is my first confession in my adult life. I have committed numerous sins of impurity in thought, word and deed since my last confession. Will a good act of contrition still work for me? Amen

Final Judgment. The last decision from a court that resolves all issues in dispute and settles the parties' rights with respect to those issues. A final judgment leaves nothing except decisions on how to enforce the judgment, whether to award costs, and whether to file an appeal.

There is only one unforgivable sin. And it's the sin of not taking Jesus into your heart and accepting him as your Lord and Savior. If you don't do that then you will end up in the lake of fire. devil

@ Chambella~ I'm just saying its the only other 'sin' that can't restitution be made for.
So the covenant of marriage was instilled between husband and virgin. Deep huh?

How you been? I thought of you the other day.
