Today I went into a very large Dollar Store to get a few things, soda, some snacky pound cake for my coffee, a gallon of cheap fruit punch and some super glue which I needed to mend a broken grill on my box fan. I found the super glue in the hardware section and was dumbfounded by the selection. There was a blister pack of 2 tubes for $1.99. and right next to it was a blister pack of 3 tubes for $2.00 This made absolutely no sense. Looking around a little I found another blister pack of 6 tubes for $1.00.

I’ve been in a dollar store once before. Cant remeber what i was shopping for though.
I thought this was a thread about being selective LOLOL.
OT: I buy my kitchen garbage bags there. 28 (almost a months worth) for a dollar. Yes, they are cheapies... but why buy the expensive ones? You're going to throw them away any how. Right? Recently I noticed they went from 28 bags to 22 in a pack. I went through all the bins and got all the remaining packs of 28 that were left. I figured I've got enough garbage bags to last me through the apocalypse.

Makes me think of the seventies and the oil crisis.I remember when Japan was having shortages of toilet paper. Now most? or many developed countries have negative interest rates. Penalized for savings !! Seems an over supply of everything. I think a lot of it is due to demographics. I wonder how stocks in U.S. will do in ext few years.
