Apparently the flu and AIDS drugs are working which will hopefully protect us from the worst. We’ve thwarted so many of mother nature’s attempts to make the human race younger, the fears are overblown.

Mostly you are right but!The AIDS drugs is unbearable to the HIV positive victims.
It's causing a lot of pain in the stomach , liver and the rest of the body of the victim.
In addition it's too expensive .

The medicine could only make you live for longer but not too long to reach 60 or 70 years old personBeing infected with HIV is not like other STDs .

when you start the treatment the virus will reduced to level 0% in your blood
But it's hiding in unreachable cells , curing this cells mean killing you literally.
when you are older your The immune system weakens and hardly fight back the normal flu rather than fight HIV virus .
That's why we don't hear about old person with HIV positive still alive.
