I confess I had to google it, because I don't even know the symptoms... Here's what I found...
"Psychosis is an umbrella term; it means that an individual has sensory experiences of things that do not exist and/or beliefs with no basis in reality. During a psychotic episode, an individual may experience hallucinations and/or delusions."
I guess it must be really hard to deal with it, because to that particular individual, what he/she perceives is his/her reality...

Why do you ask this? Are you bragging that you knew someone with mental illness? Are you bringing up this because you want to make sure we understand you merely have multiple neuroses, but are not completely broken from reality?
