Mercedes_00: Vaccines have been in progress for the last 30 years..Scientists knew another pandemic would arise..I can't believe how people think these vaccines were a one year spin off...That's not how vaccines work...Vaccines have been in progress for so long for the next pandemic that was always going to hit us..They had vaccines to play with.
Eh, I'm no expert, but I see a lot of people getting poor from this, and only a choice few becoming richer, so I have my suspicions...

Vaccines are cheap and cheerful apart from the waiting. The waiting is the hardest part and so much harder for the young and the poor who wouldn't notice covid relative to the things they brush off everyday. It might even end in a Bolshevik uprising this decimation of youth and the working class globally. Not communist but it perceives the establishment as a feudal system run by aging criminals.

Mikey I can only speak for me and how things are here where I live..My federal government as well the premier of my state are a party that I never vote for..As far as far as covid is concerned I can't fault them..They have looked after us financially.

The majority here in Australia don't mind mandatory things put in place..Small business's have struggled many people have struggled but we know we have to nip this in the bud..If I lived in other countries where things are way out of control I would be dead for sure as I'm high risk myself.

I recently received a $100 voucher to help support small businesses as far as dining and entertainment goes..This was handed out by the premier of my state only.

If I lived in a country where the government wasn't helping I would rather be poor than die..

I don't want to die..I have so much more I want to do with my life.

Don't sneer at people who don't mind wearing a mask..Don't sneer at people who don't mind social distancing..Don't blame people who have a zest for life and know we have to do these things so we don't end up like America or India and all those countries whose governments didn't take this pandemic serious enough.

I wear my mask in public places like the good little sheep that I am, but I have to say I'm tired of seeing people in masks everywhere I go.. When will it end.. If the vaccines are so trustworthy, then why would anyone care if others wore a mask or not??? Also this is the China virus, not Americas virus, so lay blame where it's due... JS...

Bassador: I'm not here much anymore for a variety of reasons. You are a happy, upbeat woman and you are well liked by many here. Some people really resent people like you. That's their issue and they should figure out why they feel that way. The same people resent Jac because her posts are thoughtful and logical which makes their conspiracy theories indefensible. These people always resort to name calling, snickering and back stabbing behaviour. They build up each other's egos so they don't have to look inward. Some even hide behind their warped Christian beliefs. Their issues. Not yours.
Thank you..Thank you for helping me to understand why people are the way they are cheers

I'm dependent on lip-reading. Having a hearing impairent can be socially isolating at the best of times, so masks leave me guessing at what's going on even more than usual. You're fed up of them, I find them disorientating like I'm navigating the world trapped in a sound proof bubble with blacked out windows.

Wearing a mask despite having had the disease and the first vaccine is about protecting others from me. The chances are, if, in the unlikely event I were to pick up the virus again, I'd be asymptomatic and have no idea.

I read recently that initial data suggests having the vaccine reduces the chance of passing the virus on even if you do become infected. I don't know how that works, but maybe it's got something to do with a reduced viral load. Whatever the reason, continued mask wearing is a precaution until we know how vaccines and the mutating virus are behaving.

The outbreak appears to have started in China, but post-mortem samples from Italy have revealed the covid pathogen as far back as September 2019, as I understand it. Maybe it did start in China, maybe it didn't, but whomever patient zero was doesn't mean that other countries don't have the virus.

You have yours in the US, we have ours in the UK and both our governments made errrors of judgement in their handling of the pandemic. Blame is a waste of time and energy. Investigation and learning from our mistakes is not.

Jac, you have no idea how much respect I have for you for the way you look at and explain things in a "uncolored", clear, and without bias way that you do. So few people do that.

Track16: I already had a reply made for you before I posted that?
You were logged on when I gave my opinion on your thread..You felt however you felt...You then logged off..You logged back on because you felt comfortable Jac called me out..What stopped you from saying It's okay Merc I understand you took my thread the wrong way?

You ended up posting this--------------------------> hole

No offence Track I felt that was sneaky..I have enough people being sneaky behind my back who pretend they're my mate..those same people who pretended to be my mate when I first joined..

I know your not pretending to be my mate because you have a huge heart..Just don't start being sneaky with me..Call me out when I get it wrong..Nothing to be scared of Track..I'm sorry I don't post in a way where ot comes off too harsh..But at least I try to rectify by explaining why I said what I said

Mercedes_00: Track I swear on my family nothing is broken between us..I'm always stuffing up..It's not a crime because we're not perfect..We would be boring if we were perfect..

What we will do from now on is this..If either of us are unsure about each others threads or replies we will mail privately..I'm a softy with a huge heart Track..I help people here in the real world with all I have within me..It's easy because people see the expression on my face ..They feel my gentle touch on the arm or back.

Don't be afraid to be real with me Track..Please don't do that to me..That's all I ask..I ask for nothing more

By nature I don't like conflict and probably am guilty of letting things slide rather than bring it up, I don't do conflict well if that makes any sense.
