Since last Lockdown , I think I may have a fear of Lockdown.. Though I am not sure if it counts under mental health issues or not.. Just mention of the word Lockdown brings discomfort ... uh oh

I am suffering from immense fear that my son in law will die from the cancer that he is now being treated for. He is getting chemo treatments but if the chemo doesn't shrink the cancer enough away from the bone they will not be able to perform the second surgery. If they can do the surgery they will cut away any cancer cells that are left but he might lose an eye, part of his pallet and his front teeth. My daughter, his family and I live in fear that we will lose the man in our family who we all love very much. crying

It happened so suddenly... There was not enough time fore preparation ... We has to go under Lockdown overnight... And with a critical patient to take care of , it was filled with uncertainty and insecurity ...
No doctors available in neighbourhood , no nursing home or hospitals ready to provide treatment other than only corona patients , shortage of medicines and other daily supplies , it was like a nightmare...
Will never forget those months of the year 2020 ever in my life... blues

Surely this is the last place someone with anxieties would want to be.

No I'm not having a dig just trying to put things in perspective, as comments from some posters leave a lot to be desired to be honest. Name calling and debasing someone is hardly good for one's morale.sigh

Indeed??

Sharing with others when having anxiety or depression can be really helpful....

PROVIDING IT'S DONE IN A NON CRITICAL NON JUDGEMENTAL AND SUPPORTIVE WAY.

Hardly what we've come to expect on here.

sigh
