In ten years I hope to be debt free and saving for my 10th holiday that year.
To have my health back again.
To be rid of what I have to do daily in order to maintain my health.
To be footlose and fancy free.
With a nice little SUV under my bottom.
Be fully integrated into some form of charity/community work.
To have sold my first sketch/painting.
To have published a book.
And be on the way to speaking a foreign language.

I thought that on today's date, 10 years ago, I would be married to the man who was the love of my life! but he only left me on stand-by for 10 years. in my professional life, I'm where I want to be... I lived a life of many deprivations in childhood and adolescence.

It's never exact as we plan it to be and one can't have it all at once. Now you have a career. I'm sure you'll find love eventually

Tulefell: How do you envisage your life in 10 years? What would you like it to be? Are you doing anything for it to be what you like it to be?

In 10 years I'll be retired, living in a house in the south of France, hopefully Camargue region. I'll have two or three horses that I'll ride and take car of everyday. I will live alone, with a good dog, fish, turtle and parrot who will say "You're the best!" every few minutes.
If I'm doing anything now for it to be what I'd like I to be? Yes. I'm keeping in shape ( a horse farm is a lot of work ) I'm not getting seriously romanticly involved with anyone ( remember, I'll live alone ) and I'm keeping an eye on any opportunities that will advance my personal agenda.

I just may do that. Although I don't name my animals. I have a dog now he has no name. When I call him over I snap my fingers or tap my thigh and he knows I want him to come over. I like that.They are beautiful birds aren't they?
I had two cockatiels, one male one female. Nice colors, a blend of red/pink orange/yellow and grey and cute as buttons. They didn't speak but I got attached to them. Then I had to move back oversees and had to give them away. I was not happy.

My life now is way ahead/better of where I thought it might be 10 years ago ...
Starting with my daughter who is now stable with her mental disorder and having a happier settled life which means I have a more settled life doing my own stuff.
The semi-ruin I bought just over 10 years ago is now a pleasant improved refurbished home.
I have established myself as an artist and organiser of cultural events and sell some of my work. Also known locally as a translator/interpretor.
In ten years I'd like to have continued with my artwork but also be more established with my healing therapy work and less translating work. I'd like to think I'll have met someone to share my life with while we retain our independant living quaters for personal space ...
Yes I'm totally working on making that vision reality
