Youcannow: So in essence , you’re saying that people who’ve had many failed relationships in the past are better equipped to give advice , than those who have been married or had a long term partner for many years and are still ongoing ..
It very much depends on what type of advice one is looking for ... what type of life one is looking for etc... I know single people who are currently on their own, ate healthy and happy and haven't compromised their inner peace ....
I know a few couples (quite a few) who have been married forever, have compromised so much for the sake "of the marriage" that they do not feel inner peace, they have all sorts of "bodily disfunctions" due to stress and not feeling deep down happy, BUT they have been long term partners for many years ...
I know a few (very few) couples, married/together for a long time (often their second marriage) who are deep down happy and thriving ....
Just because a marriage has been going for years is not always because of the quality of it ... It can because of cultural pressure, or personal fears of loneliness or lack of resources or many other reaons ...
I prefer to ask for advice to someone who is obviously happy and thriving in their life choices than pick my advice giver on their marital status

When people ask for advice on cs it's no different to asking your friends in the real world..People ask for opinions..Some people reply with humour and some people like myself go into great detail with perfect grammar.

Failure is a matter of perception ... experience of many different scenarios (failures) is far more "useful" for anyone looking for advice than 'just 1 scenario that developed in one particular way involving 2 particular people- so it only applies to them (success)" ...
