I'm not a feminist but I do get sick and tired of seeing posts from certain people always trying to run down women. I for one started working at aged 15, worked all my life whilst bringing up my 3 children. I worked nights so that I would be there for them during the day whilst my ex worked. I'm one of those women that won't be able to claim my State Pension until I'm 66, having payed into the system for 40 years.
I SO hear you. I just went to a Medicare Insurance event, which included the benefits you are talking about. A weird “catch-22” is that the best benefits are so expensive only retirees who don’t really need them can afford them. And, who can part with any MORE of our already skimpy pensions, us poor folk, I mean?

My friend in America that's worked all his life has to go and have a 3rd wire attached to his pacemaker. I do feel very angry sometimes. I've layed so many bodies out in my work that I don't really know what or how I should feel

rohaan: Masculists, or, “Masculism” does exist, but has a difficult time getting a (fair) shake. Even male talk-show hosts will ‘shut down’ a male guest who tries to defend mens’ rights. Dr. Phil has done it bunches of times. Here’s what I believe: it has become popular on prime television to saturate with feminism. Watch “The View”, “The Talk”, for example. I’m not saying it isn’t great that women are getting equal rights- of course it is. But it excludes allowing men to do the same. Recently a male guest who suggested some empathy for the problems with this type of discrimination was boo-hissed, abused with a “oh yew por widdle babuh boi…”

Spot on. There are areas where men are disadvantaged, here it can be seen in the family law courts. If a feminist is for equal rights then they should be drawing attention to this but of course they don't.attitude, something that wouldn’t be tolerated the other way around. Men are, and have been, treated badly in America. When righteously attempting to defend themselves, they are ridiculed.
It's hard to argue this in a world where there is so much violence against women, nearly all women experience danger from a man at some time in their lives. A lot of movements for human rights have a lunatic fringe attached to them and feminism is no exception to this. The whole issue is full of human complexity and shouldn't be reduced to slogans or a black and white view, there are gray areas.

Harbottle: I haven't had the problem with femisists that some folks seem to have had. Perhaps I've just been lucky. I have never had a mob of them beating on my door, seeking to emasculate me. I don't actually know that I've ever met a real feminist. I do know women who claim to believe in feminism, but all they usually want is equal rights and fair treatment for women. Views like that are hardly radical enough to be called feminism, so I dismiss these women as fake feminists.
I think the reason for my not being troubled by raving, man-hating viragos is perhaps that I've never bothered looking in all the possible nooks and crannies where one might find them. Which brings me to my advice on how to deal with them.

People keep confusing 'gender equality' with 'gender equal rights' ...There is no need for men and women to become genderless interchangeable. The need is for both to have equal human rights. For same professional and social skills to be valued equally in both (or all) genders. For both (or all) genders to have the same parenting rights etc...

English is English in languages. Spanish is Spanish in languages Ireland and Wales do have their own language. I'm not sure about Scotland though. I've yet to hear about going to other Countries and them saying that they speak American Also "single punctuation" is not a thing.
I guess they just wanted to be different, changing the "S" to a "Z" plus taking out a letter in words to prove their laziness
