Can they turn of all lights down stairs because I can't sleep! And the power is needed elsewhere.

Electricity prices are shooting through the roof in the EU. (don't know about the US)
main reason, there is not enough gas for the cookers.
Well the politicians should have thought about that before they turned off the nuclear power plants and pissed Putin of. I blame the Germans! Now I have to pay $1000 us or more per month for electricity only because Merkel been stupid together with so called green(idiot) parties. Couple that with electric cars and next years will be tough on power lines!
I have worked since 1985 with junking combustion engine cars. Now I see my kind of work vanishing.
My village will be gone within 15 years. Nearest town might survive because they have a train station from were people can commute many hours per day to a bigger city and work.
Politicians are lying as usual claiming there is no wind(been blowing a lot), ice have to form on dams, like it's never been winter before. In north of Sweden we have plenty of electricity but we have to be showing solidarity to the south and help them pay their bills. They don't have minus 20 C outside like we have. They can turn of their stupid Christmas ornamentation and let the astronaut sleep!
Ps. I have +12 C in the room I am now sitting and writing this. You get used to it. To expensive to heat it higher and the fuses will blow if I try. People in Stockholm complain when it's + 22 C in their apartments!
Lazy spoiled town environmentalists I say! Ship them out to a Tipi in forest I say.

The solution is, don't do away with one source of energy, until you have the technology for a new source.. It's typical Biden regime backasswardness.. It's the same way they handled the pull out from Afghanistan... They want to see the planet fail..

deliberate, malicious obstruction in the production and delivery of all energy sources, food,by the way the price of food is up for 35 percent since last year,in my country and it seems, water will become very expensive ,construction materials have risen in price by over 70 percent...

Nuclear power. The Belgians now also want to turn of a bunch of them until 2025!
Sweden has one of the largest deposits of Uranium in the world. We could be the new Dubai! But politicians in Sweden prohibit mining it and most other materials as well, except government owned iron mines.
Allow Russian gas for now and all European countries should switch to electrical stows when power is abundant. Now they are creating a monster. The following winters power will disappear and a lot of things will freeze and brake. People will not be able to live in their homes when water pipes brakes even if power comes back. It will be like 1946 again. For you Oxycodone, maybe you have memories of later wars and no power? I can heat my house with wood(Government doesn't allow it but I don't care in an emergency) but that is hard in apartments. I say it's a big mistake with changing to electric cars. They don't work good in cold climates and are not as cheap as you think. 5 years from now you'll be sorry if you have bought one.

I’m wondering why the most natural occurring energy sources aren’t utilized more; Solar/Wind/Water…This next statement is a little redundant, but perhaps worth repeating: Nearly everyone I’ve ever spoken to about off-grid living readily agrees that it is a much, much better way to go all around— financially, environmentally, personally. However, banks and mortgage companies are unwilling to loan on them, so they’re scarce. We have the knowledge and where-with-all to help this problem in a great, humongous way, and the very people we need to get it going won’t help. There is your problem…professor

Solar and wind just isn't up to provide the Baseload needed, especially if the switch to mostly electric Cars happens, neither is the Grid able to carry the load needed!

I have plenty of roof space but government only give subsidization to private people and small installations. I could sell power to whole village but would then compete with government! They do not want that. I even have a river for water power.

Very similar price, eye filet about 40 something bucks a kilo... More if it's organic or fancy, there's the currency conversion and average wage/inflation etc, but I'd say much the same.

I doubt steak will change much in price, I don't know if it's still the case, but Australian steak had to be ground up to be sold there. Protecting US farmers from having to compete against folks that can do it better and cheaper... No biggy, we have no problems getting rid of the stuff, everyone else likes it.
