I doubt old Boris’s standard of living is affected by this conflict . He just pumps millions , if not billions of taxpayers money into funding this war.

I am more concerned about Russian public being indifferent to the current situation: food cost is rising, workers are made redundant, it's not possible to buy USD or EUR. And people ask questions: "Why? What happened?".
It's bloody fifty-nth day of war! They ask: "what happened?"
If anything else, propaganda works :/
