That happens way to often. Remember the David Harris murder where his wife Clara run him over a few times in Texas. I think she only served 15 years. Or something like that. A_chromosome: I agree, just leave and divorce, at this point ( her and her mate ) they are just trying to stick to the dedication they made to each other which will most likely kill one or the other eventually.
I watched an old Andy Griffith show where he was called out over and over again about this couple fighting, he tried to fix them by telling them that he wouldn't take them to jail if they just got along, eventually they started snapping and punching other people around them in town, Andy told them to go back fighting, who knows
