Most people who travel a lot are either looking for an escapism from the harsh reality of life, or are not content with life in general .
Imagine , the hassle of packing (often too many clothes you probably won’t wear) the chaos at the airport & when you finally arrive at your destination, it takes about 2 weeks to figure out the best places to visit & eat , of which time , it’s time to return home . Not to mention the local currency & many locals trying to rip you off .

My Ex and I both worked full time jobs but we took many road trips on the weekends. No real destination just head out and explore different areas, back roads, places off the beaten track. It was more fun than planning a full vacation, made some great memories and adventures. Very refreshing after a long week as well.Does the drive thru count?

I done something similar pre covid . Jumped on the Eurostar, then travelled east via France with no plan or particular destination, other than a hotel I booked in Belgium for the first couple of nights .
