Not necessarily true. I worked for over three decades in hospitals. When a woman (usually an R.N.) would yell, get upset, pound her fist on a table or book, etc...people, including management, would generally say, "Oh, just take ....with a grain of salt....you know how flustered and frustrated she can get....", BUT, if a male employee even so much as raised his voice even a teensy bit, (or the poor fellow even frowned...),why, it was send for the top troops, this guy is outa control, gonna need anger management, etc....

I get it, 9 seconds turned into 18 seconds. Twice as long

Small circle of close friends that you know you can trust. Thats how most people gravitate when they get older I have noticed. My circle is very small and I wouldn't have it any other way. Yes I agree, I've found myself around a while new group of people.and I'm.taking it super slow to.get to fully immersed myself in a social aspect..I'm.afrsid my.'traits' may come.across.weird and therfore be isolated...but so far all has been positive....I'm really relieved that I've spoken to you know.
