Old atitudes die hard but the tide is turning. Despite what one poster has said on here, womens football is enjoying record attendances, paticularly in the bigger tournaments. It's quite shocking to note that womens football was banned by the Football Association in 1921, the ban lasted for 51 years. What were these men of the FA so afraid of?

bodleing2: I played football in the States in 2001, the women were more than capable of competing with the men.
