These images are so real looking, it's difficult to believe they are not real at all. They are not a conglomeration of real-life people assembled together to make a picture. Rather they are out of the imagination of an intelligent computer.

Eventually androids will be self cleaning and will get so realistic and customizable that real relationships will be talked about in the way we talk about how people used to live by candlelight.

Morning--good enough argument for meeting folks the old fashioned way--church, club, square dance, pub/restaurant.....Although I have met a couple of people from online over the years, I fairly old school in wanting to meet in person. Perhaps a victim of my own antiquity...but have yet to be screwed up by this AI thing-a-ma-jig. Thanks for putting this out there. We need to stop being dependent on technology and use it for a tool, not an "everything". When will A.I. take over dating sites? Maybe they already have to some extent. PS--many sites require typing in a 'capcha' code, apparently to eliminate the "fake" end of it.....don't know if it is very helpful....

It writes news articles, books and entertainment columns and gives you advise on human behaviour and so on.
And it is greatly accepted as quite a lot of people aren't really keen to have a real life interaction anyway.

I can imagine 2 A.I. creatted fake profiles messeging eachother. I'd love to be online when that happens to witness it.

Thanks for all the comments. I believe it is pervasive already and online dating sites might not be able to keep up with it. It's a shame because I have met some wonderful people through CS.
We use it at work, backed up by very strict regulations in place with IT, governance, processes, policies, data etc and are explict with clients in its usage.
