My observation: a true love is always unrequited. Even if the both sides are involved. I don't know how it's possible. Once upon a time I was totally in love with a man who was totally in love with me, yet we were totally in love with each other in a completely different way. And the ways we were in love with each other weren't requite from the other side.but ok, it was interesting for introspection to find my 3 best solutions

Best three decisions I have made was getting out of a very violent relationship
When I became single I stopped giving men the benefit of the doubt when looking back so many red flags could of filled a golf course that I ignored for too long I had to stop making excuses for him as I did my ex because I could feel myself getting involved in another toxic situation that I needed to walk way from for good
I love my single life I thrive being single so yep best decision I made was to stay single forever & ever & ever

First best decision was to GTF out of New York City. 2nd best decision was to buy a house. 3rd best decision was to learn all I could about the Stock Market. A bonus decision was to never become a smoker.
Tulefell: I am totally jealous of your so mature decisions at a relatively young age (I'll never be that mature). But I wonder how did you manage to move for love together with a house?
My house has been rented out for the last 6 years or so, so it gave me the ability to move where I wanted...I am blessed with the best tenants you could ask for...so I'm very lucky.Maturity came when I had to work 2 jobs , working 7 days a week to get out of debt, that along with a once off government savings scheme, time and patience and I ended up 2 and half years later being able to buy my house....again lucky to have been able to do it.

No, it s not sad at all..just like Mercedes I enjoy being single..but at the same time I am in love... It s a great inspiration for me.. so no regrets..btw I ve met him here on cs
My best - then - friend told me at the time of my divorce: get married / get a lover at once or you'll remain single. (Because being single for a woman is the best option ever.) I didn't listen to her. I thought that before involving in a relationship, I'd enjoy being single for a little more. And more. And more... until being single became my philosophy.
