It has just been announced that the King of England has been diagnosed with cancer. He has just been released from Hospital after a prostate operation but does not have prostate cancer. His duties have been cancelled as he will be attending hospital for treatment.

My thoughts are with the family and wishing him well.

I saw this on the news tonight .i feel bad for Charles as it’s not long since the queen died and he’s only been king for a short time already. I really hope he gets better after his treatment.

I admire the Family for bringing it out in the open so soon . Apparently his opening up about prostate treatment was to encourage others to get checked which is admirable.

Completely agree GS thumbs up

I think this also helps to put a 'human face' on the Royal Family and the monarchy in general, in terms of us all being vulnerable human beings regardless of our walk of life confused

Can only imagine how King Charles and his loved ones are feeling right now, once that dreaded 'C' word enters our vocabulary it's a whole new, and very much unwanted, ball game sigh

Wishing him all the best on his journey and hope he makes a complete recovery gift

Hi Ro hug

For sure, and as we know, if these things are detected and treated early, the chance of recovery is so much greater gift

During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.

His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.

The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.

His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.

Hi I hope you are well! Him being a member of a really bad group of people I hope he dies. Did you know that when they buried his mother, the very last thing they did, was to brake the scepter in half and throw it in the coffin. This tradition goes back to when the Khazarian king died in Bohemia after fleeing the Russians, they were intervening the human sacrifices and killings of silk road traders around the year 900. I think it's a way to make sure the ghost will not remain. But I am no expert on Baal worship.

What a disgusting post .barf Not unexpected though when I saw who had posted it.

Do you honestly think that the Sceptre would be broken in half .doh It's worth millions .

It's a white staff that is broken called the Wand of Office. The purpose of breaking the wand is to create a symmetry with the three Instruments of State that had been removed from the coffin. It has absolutely nothing to do with any other country but I'll leave you to look up our traditions.

Imagine breaking this in half.
