I guess that would depend on what kind of impact you are trying to make but I think the old adage "Actions speak louder than words" is generally true.

I'm more of a talker than a looker. My style in RL is Hawaiian shirts, or jeans and a T shirt, with a pair of Chuck Taylors. But with my voice I can go from serious to to playful easily.

Obviously Oceans people make the biggest impact on you by "looks" alone....too bad...apparently i'm a great conversationalist too!

The reason i am asking this is because i have been offered a new venue as a career...a Tribunal Rep (for the housing tribunal)...
Because i have worked within the court system before those that are encouraging me to do this know that i am quite capable of "arguing a point" based on facts...(I don't allow personal feelings to hinder my thought process in law)
However...I do happen to know what kind of "appearance" i have, and i'm wondering how willing would people who's "homes" are at stake here be willing to allow me to represent them....and would they have enough confidence in my ability...
