It took me 34 years to figure it out. lol I finally came up with a game plan tho. Just have to stick to it and not let anything or anyone make me stray from it. In the long run it will make for a better friend, person, lover etc.

The analogy I use is that of a car engine. I can be tuned up a bit, but there's no way I'm going in for a major overhaul. This vehicle has too many miles on it.

I try to change something about myself when I feel I cannot achieve some goal or even keep going unless I do change/adjust a particular aspect. (Adaptation for survival, like any animal really... LOL) Also some people in my life (some of my teachers, for one thing) have been great inspiration and motivated me to change just by being what they are, and I hope to meet more people like this in my life...
