I doubt it somehow even if a few have found their other half and that's supposed to be a sign of hope.

Well you know ...just go with the flow .....as was impressed on one in one of the threads....I come to the site for the forums...i think they are great and real fun ....and one does make friends ....whihc is also great...as for the rest ...well let fate take its course .....who knows ........

Back to the question in hand yes I think it's possible although sometimes you have to cast a wider net. Also you can only hope to meet someone online or offline who is on the same page as you are otherwise you draw a blank.

As bad luck would have it, one was sick on our first meeting, and the second one who I was supposed to meet on a Sunday, visited her friend abroad that week.
So I dated the girl who was not from CS that week, and remained with her ever since.
I still chat with all the people I met at that time. And so many new ones write in every week.
I hang on mostly to make friends, but this feeling of women writing in, gives me a sense of satisfaction. Most continue to write independent of everything else, and fully aware that I have a girlfriend. But then, who has one friend or girlfriend these days?
I guess making the best of life at this stage is a must for all of us.

My profile states that I'm not looking, but even if I was I don't believe I would find my ideal match here after having several CS dates last year which were disappointing.
I have a full social life here in Spain, (unfortunately that will change when I return to work in Russia!) and thankfully still manage to have dates in the real world so it's not really an issue for me.
CS for me is just for online friendship and chat.
